Commodities Asia Summit

Globalisation is arguably facing its biggest test of the post-Cold War era due to the one-two punch of pandemic and the war in Ukraine. This will have profound implications for commodity markets in Asia. As security of supply rises up the political agenda the way raw materials from copper to corn are produced, distributed and consumed will change, creating challenges but also opportunities for nimble operators. Against this complex backdrop, the need to reach net zero emission remains and will help drive development of new markets such as carbon offsets. These changes will have to happen sustainably and in a way that is acceptable to banks and investors who must meet strict environment, sustainability and governance metrics.
With 600 virtual attendees in each of its first two years, we are excited to host the 3rd FT Commodities Asia Summit in-person in Singapore, as well as having it once again being available to our global digital audience. We look forward to welcoming senior business leaders from the industry in November.
